Description:

Graduate Data Analyst - Marsh Graduate Programme 2026

We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and excited by the opportunity to learn in a fast-moving environment.

This role sits at the intersection of data, analytics, platform support, and automation, with a strong focus on using modern tools — including AI — to improve how we work and what we deliver.

If you’re someone who likes solving problems, improving processes, and turning data into something people can actually use, this could be the role for you.

What can you expect:

This is a brilliant opportunity for an ambitious graduate to join a team at the forefront of how data drives decisions. You’ll work across data, analytics, and platform development, building skills that cover the full lifecycle of how insight is created, refined, and delivered to users around the world.

You’ll be joining at an exciting moment. We’ve built internal platforms that support user base in the UK, and we’re actively evolving into AI-assisted workflows. If you’re curious about where analytics and AI intersect in a real-world business environment, this role will put you right in the middle of it.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the development and maintenance of analytics platforms and dashboards used by colleagues in the UK
  • Work with data pipelines and structured datasets to help ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy of outputs
  • Contribute to automation initiatives that reduce manual work and improve the speed of insight delivery
  • Use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Claude as part of your everyday workflow — drafting, analysing, and problem-solving
  • Help translate complex data into clear, accessible outputs for non-technical stakeholders
  • Get involved in platform improvements, testing, and user support as you build your understanding of how our tools work end to end

What you need to have:

  • A recent graduate having achieved a 2:1 or higher (or equivalent) or final-year student (on track to achieve a 2:1 or higher) with a strong interest in data and analytics
  • Genuine curiosity about the role AI is playing in transforming how businesses operate
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to learn tools and techniques on the job
  • Strong attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving
  • Good communication skills — you’ll be working with people across functions and time zones
  • A collaborative mindset and eagerness to contribute from day one

What makes you stand out

  • A genuine passion for utilising AI - we're not listing "AI enthusiasm" as a box-tick. We actively use AI tools in this team to work smarter, and we want someone who's already experimenting with them — or can't wait to. Whether that's using AI to help structure a piece of analysis, leaning on it to accelerate your work, or having ideas about where AI could improve something we're doing, that mindset matters here.
  • Hands-on exposure to a live, global analytics platform from day one
  • A team that builds things properly and cares about craft
  • Real responsibility early — this isn’t a coffee-and-shadowing kind of role
  • Active interest in AI, with a curiosity to experiment and apply them to real business challenges
  • Experience with Power BI, Excel, Python, SQL, or similar tools — although this is a bonus, not a requirement
  • A mindset that embraces experimentation, especially where AI can improve how work gets done

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have impact for colleagues, clients and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
