We are looking to expand our development team at our Headquarter in Wessling near Munich, with a focus on C++-based algorithm development and the further development of our software architecture.
Your main tasks
- Development of Innovative Algorithms:
Design, development, and optimization of mathematical algorithms in C++ for generating highly precise and efficient toolpaths
- Further Development of Our Software Architecture:
Shared responsibility for the further development of our software architecture to improve scalability
- Interdisciplinary collaboration:
Close and agile collaboration with your own team—comprising mathematicians, physicists, and mechanical engineers—as well as with related departments, particularly Product Management and Innovation
- Helping shape future technologies:
Contributing your own ideas, experiences, and perspectives to proactively participate in the development of future hyperMILL® modules
Your profile
- Successful completion of a degree program:
Degree in mathematics, physics, mechanical engineering, computer science, or a comparable technical or scientific field
- Technical expertise:
Comprehensive expertise in development with C++ and an understanding of modern software architecture; experience with C to understand legacy code is a plus
- Experience in technical software development:
Practical experience in developing technical software solutions, ideally in the field of CAD/CAM systems, CNC technologies, or industrial control systems
- Interest in mathematical and software architecture challenges:
Enjoyment of solving mathematical problems—for example, in the fields of differential geometry or computer geometry—as well as further developing our software architecture
- Language skills:
Very good English skills for communication within our international team; knowledge of German is a plus
