We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

• API & Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and modern Java. AI-Assisted Engineering: Utilize AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to accelerate feature development, code generation, refactoring, and unit test creation.

• DevOps & Containerization: Build, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Package, deploy, and manage containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Messaging & Event-Driven Architecture: Design and integrate messaging workflows using platforms like Apache Kafka or GCP Pub/Sub.

• Database Management: Work with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and relational databases, optimizing queries, schemas, and data persistence models.

• Code Quality & Security: Enforce coding standards through static code analysis (SonarQube) and proactively resolve security vulnerabilities and compliance issues.

• Security & Authentication: Implement robust authentication/authorization patterns, including JWT.

• Testing & Quality Assurance: Write and execute comprehensive unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure system reliability and code coverage.

• Performance Tuning & Debugging: Conduct load/performance testing, troubleshoot production issues, resolve bottlenecks, and perform root-cause analysis.

To be successful in this role, candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Java & Spring Framework: 5+ years of hands-on software development experience with Java (11/21+) and Spring Boot.

• REST APIs & Security: Deep understanding of RESTful architectural principles, API design best practices, and JWT authentication.

• AI Coding Tools: Practical experience using AI coding assistants to optimize productivity while maintaining code quality and security standards.

• DevOps Tools: Hands-on experience with Jenkins, Docker, and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.

• Messaging Systems: Proven experience implementing messaging architectures with Kafka, Pub/Sub.

• Databases: Working knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) and database design principles.

• Languages & Formats: Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and configuration/markup languages (JSON, YAML).

• Security & Quality Tools: Experience with quality scan tools like SonarQube and fix security vulnerabilities. Testing: Proficiency in unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
