We build the vital infrastructure that orchestrates complex workflows across an ever-growing number of global sites and studies. When hospital sites upload CT scans, our platform ensures the imaging securely reaches sponsors, independent reviewer panels, or our core machine learning analysis pipelines. Built on a modern tech stack featuring a Python backend, REST APIs, and React frontends, all running on AWS EKS and deployed via Terraform, what we build matters every single day to advance critical clinical research and change lives.

What you will do

  • Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Document and maintain software functionality
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  • Deploy programs and evaluate user feedback
  • Ensure software is updated with latest features
  • Other activities as required to support company aims and priorities
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience with Django
  • Experience building, documenting, and testing REST APIs
  • Ability to produce maintainable, testable, documented, production-grade code
  • Experience utilising CI/CD processes (GitLab preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working in a team using agile methodologies

Even better if you

  • Are comfortable with Unix like operating systems
  • Have experience using Terraform
  • Have experience using Pydantic
  • Have worked with AWS cloud services
  • Have some experience with Javascript, Typescript and React
  • Have familiarity with SQL and good schema design
  • Have experience working with containerised environments (Docker/Kubernetes)
  • Have experience working in a regulated environment
  • A comprehensive benefits package that includes an annual bonus plan, private medical insurance, life insurance, and a contributory pension scheme
  • 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and enhanced maternity leave
