Job Description

Provide production support for applications by monitoring incidents, performing analysis, and resolving issues with moderate independence. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Analyze production incidents and document the resolutions applied: 
  • Investigates and analyzes verbal and written production incidents, understanding the issue inside highly complex applications. 
  • Document incidents and their resolution, facilitating further resolutions. 
  • Interact with final users in the day-to-day support work: 
  • Interact with different users and read between the lines to facilitate the incidents analysis. 
  • Contributes to the planning for application maintenance removing bugs  
  • Attend incident management (IM) calls to follow production issues and report status from the IT side: 
  • Attend IM calls to follow incidents evolution guiding the team to reach the resolution of the incident through final solution or work around. 
  • Report IT status regarding the incident, defining next steps 
  • Execute root cause analysis (RCA) to identify root causes and final resolutions to production incidents: 
  • Investigate application incidents for missing or incorrect functionality.  
  • Assesses incident resolution and estimates application changes.  
  • Applies resolutions, leading to timely, error-free revisions in applications.

  • Key interface relationships (internal and external): Internal: Team Leads, Client Service Managers, Communications Team, Scrum Masters.

  • Other factors indicating size/complexity of role: Must be able to juggle multiple priorities and handle work requests with a sense of urgency. 

Qualifications

Essential 

  • Bachelor of science degree in computer science or similar 
  • 2+ years of production support experience /software development experience 
  • Advanced knowledge of one or more software development languages and proficiency in all related languages 
  • Advanced knowledge of relevant operating systems and communication interfaces 
  •  Ability to communicate and negotiate solutions with the productions team members 

Preferred 

  • 4+ years of IT experience 
  • Experience working with onshore and offshore vendor partners 
  • Ready to support the Shift based model. 

 

Skills required:

  • Java SpringBoot / Angular 
  • Experienced in supporting Springboot, Microservices based applications 
  • Experienced in supporting Web Servers and Application Servers 
  • Azure Cloud  
  • Experienced in using – WinScp, Putty, SQL developer/DBeaver 
  • Exposure in Azure/AWS,AKS(Azure Kubernetes Services),Unix shell scripting 
  • Power BI 
  • API Rest Power BI 
  • Aritificial Inteligence  

Nice to have 

  • Generative AI 
  • Agentic AI 
  • PostGreSQL 17.5 / Oracle 19c 

Knowledge required: 

  • SQL, Postgres Database, Oracle PL/SQL 
  • Unix and Shell scripting 
  • Unix: Basic and advance commands
