Position Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support our growing Services department, manufacturing operations, and broader organizational reporting. In this role, you will assist with financial modeling, variance analysis, routine corporate reporting, and operational metrics tracking to support overall business efficiency. You will work closely with services management, operations, and cross-functional leadership to help translate data into clear, actionable financial insights. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in corporate finance, solid Excel skills, and an eagerness to collaborate across multiple business units.

Primary Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and financial schedules for the Services division and core operations.
  • Support company-wide reporting efforts, including monthly management packages, cross-departmental dashboards, and executive KPI trackers.
  • Monitor and analyze service revenues, billable utilization, job profitability, and cost of service delivered.
  • Track manufacturing performance, analyzing variances in cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, and overhead.
  • Partner with service managers and operational teams to evaluate project margins, contract performance, and operational trends.
  • Assist with corporate financial requests, cash flow updates, and working capital analysis.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial reporting, data gathering, and analysis to support key strategic initiatives across the organization.

Requirements

Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years of finance or accounting experience (internship experience in corporate FP&A or business operations considered).
  • Exposure to financial reporting, variance analysis, and operational performance metrics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, summary formulas).
  • Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) or BI reporting tools is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, high attention to detail, and ability to support multiple teams simultaneously.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related business field.
