About Webgility
Webgility builds ecommerce-to-accounting automation for US-based SMB and mid-market sellers. We sit at the intersection of ecommerce, accounting, and fintech — a problem nearly every online seller eventually runs into, and one that gets more painful, not less, as they scale.
About the Role
Every growing e-commerce seller in the US hits the same wall: their storefronts (Shopify, Amazon, Walmart) and their books (QuickBooks, NetSuite) don't talk to each other. What starts as a spreadsheet workaround becomes hours of manual reconciliation, miscategorized transactions, and month-end panic. Webgility closes that gap automatically and increasingly, with AI doing more of the work itself.
This Senior PM role sits at the center of that shift: you'll decide what "the software does it for you" actually means for a Webgility seller, and you'll own it end to end.
You'll own a defined slice of the platform from customer problem to shipped, adopted feature, working daily with engineering, design, and customer support, and at launch with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
A growing share of what you own is AI-native by design: you'll define what the system should just handle, what it should flag, and what it should ask a human to confirm shaping how AI works inside real seller workflows.
You'll also work in an org that uses AI as its own day-to-day operating layer we build with agentic tooling internally as much as we ship it externally, so you'll be expected to work AI-first yourself, not just spec AI for others to build.
Requirements
What You'll Do
- Own the roadmap and day-to-day execution for your product area end-to-end
- Own the roadmap for AI-powered capabilities in that area — from automated categorization and anomaly detection to agentic workflows that act on sellers' behalf
- Partner with engineering and AI teams to turn real seller pain points into AI features that are genuinely useful and trustworthy not AI for its own sake including defining what "good" looks like and how you'll measure it
- Run customer discovery directly with US-based SMB and mid-market ecommerce sellers interviews, usage data, support/CS feedback loops
- Write clear specs and partner tightly with engineering and design through build and ship
- Define success metrics for your area (adoption, activation, retention) and report on them honestly, including when something isn't working
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success on go-to-market positioning, launch, and rollout for what you ship
- Triage the constant stream of inbound requests without losing sight of the roadmap
What You Bring
- 10+ years total experience, with meaningful time in B2B SaaS product management
- Experience building products for a US customer base
- Experience shipping AI-powered features in a B2B SaaS product from problem framing through measurable adoption
- Comfortable running your own customer discovery, without a dedicated research team
- Metrics literacy: you can define, track, and defend the numbers behind your prioritization calls
- Strong written communication — specs and cross-functional updates that don't need a meeting to be understood
- You use AI tools in your own day-to-day work research, writing, analysis, prototyping and expect to keep doing so here
Preferred Experience
- Ecommerce and accounting/financial software you understand both sides of the sync problem we solve, not just one
- Direct experience with SMB or mid-market customers — not purely enterprise, low-volume accounts
Location & Compensation
India-based, remote-friendly. Compensation is competitive and based on experience.
