Job Description
At TAL, you'll play a key role in strengthening the frameworks that help us deliver on our promise to protect Australians with confidence. Working within the Line 2 Risk Office, you'll partner with stakeholders across the business to enhance financial risk management practices, support critical decision making, and help shape a strong and sustainable future for TAL. In This Role You Will:

- Provide trusted risk and compliance guidance to strengthen the management of financial risks across the business
- Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of TAL’s Risk Appetite Statement
- Collaborate with Capital teams to support and evolve TAL’s Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) framework
- Lead the coordination and delivery of stress testing scenarios that strengthen business resilience
- Build strong stakeholder partnerships to embed risk awareness and promote effective risk management practices

Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in a business, risk, finance, actuarial or related discipline
- Experience or exposure to risk management, capital management or financial services environments
- Understanding of life insurance prudential requirements, capital frameworks or regulatory obligations
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex issues and identify practical solutions
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building capabilities
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative and continuous improvement mindset
