We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Electrical Project Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing a diverse range of projects, ensuring their successful execution from conception to completion. Your primary focus will be on effective project planning, team coordination, budget management and collaboration with various stakeholders. With your adaptability, strong communication skills, and comprehensive understanding of electrical systems, you will play a pivotal role in project success.

Roles and Responsibilities:        

  • Lead and manage electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery
  • Review project documents, including design drawings, specifications, and contracts, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets, track costs, and prepare regular financial reports for management review.
  • Oversee project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Implement effective coaching strategies to address challenges, optimize workflows, and improve overall project performance.
  • Apply in-depth knowledge of procurement processes to ensure the success of the project.
  • Develop and draft code and specification-compliant electrical layouts for implementation by field staff.

Job Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years of field experience, with at least 2 years in a foreman role.
  • 2+ years of experience as a project manager in the electrical contracting field.
  • Ability to execute electrical estimates from full project to change orders.
  • Demonstrated on-site experience, showcasing the ability to manage and address project challenges in a dynamic construction environment.
  • Demonstrated excellence in leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and adept at using programs for modifying .pdf files (Bluebeam).
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in the English language is essential.
  • Electrical trade certificate or electrical degree/diploma.
