Role Overview: The Business Systems Analyst will support the Hyundai/Kia warranty system by analyzing business needs, identifying system issues, and recommending practical solutions that improve system performance, usability, workflow consistency, and business alignment. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate requirements into clear documentation, support testing and deployment activities, and provide user training and ongoing support. The analyst will also leverage AI tools to enhance analysis, reporting, summaries, recommendations, and process documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and document requirements from business users and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze warranty system workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement and operational efficiency.
  • Assess system performance, user functionality, and business alignment to support effective warranty operations.
  • Serve as a bridge between business and IT teams to facilitate clear communication and shared understanding of priorities.
  • Propose system enhancements and business process solutions to optimize warranty system operations.
  • Assist in planning and executing system testing, validation, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.
  • Create and maintain clear, professional documentation for business processes, requirements, workflows, decisions, and solutions.
  • Conduct training sessions and provide ongoing support to system users.
  • Use AI tools to generate reports, summaries, insights, and recommendations that improve efficiency and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, IT operations, or a related role.
  • Knowledge of business processes, requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and documentation practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with IT systems, application support concepts, and database fundamentals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to create clear, concise, and professional documentation for users, stakeholders, and IT partners.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience supporting projects in an Agile environment.
  • Experience using AI tools to support analysis, reporting, summarization, documentation, or process improvement.
  • Business analysis certification such as CBAP or CCBA.
  • AWS certification or foundational knowledge of cloud technologies.

Salary range: $72,940 - $104,302
