Software Architect (.Net+React)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Software Architect (.Net+React) based in Brazil.

We are looking for an experienced Software Architect to help design and evolve scalable, secure, and high-performing web applications. You will work across backend and frontend technologies, with a strong focus on .NET Core, JavaScript, and React. The role combines hands-on architecture, software engineering, security, performance optimization, and technical leadership. You will also leverage AI tools and agentic development practices to improve code quality, accelerate delivery, and modernize engineering workflows. Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing backend applications using .NET Core.

• Contribute to the architecture and evolution of web applications across backend and frontend layers.

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using JavaScript and React, ensuring maintainability, performance, and usability.

• Identify and remediate application security vulnerabilities while promoting secure development practices across frontend and backend code.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrations following sound architectural and engineering principles.

• Improve application architecture, performance, scalability, reliability, and overall technical quality.

• Work across multiple projects and technology stacks, adapting to new frameworks, languages, and tools as business and technical needs evolve.

• Incorporate AI tools and techniques into software development workflows to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.

• Apply AI agents throughout the software development lifecycle, supporting activities such as codebase onboarding, refactoring, implementation, testing, and delivery.

• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design sessions, and implementation planning.

• Promote secure coding, testing, code quality, and engineering best practices across development teams.

• Mentor developers and contribute to a culture of technical growth, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

• Take proactive ownership of technical challenges, identifying risks early and driving solutions through to resolution.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in backend software development, with strong expertise in .NET Core.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture concepts, and design patterns.

• Solid proficiency in JavaScript and frontend technologies, particularly React.

• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.

• Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, such as SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, particularly AWS.

• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD practices.

• Practical experience using Claude Code through terminal, IDE, and GitHub integrations to accelerate codebase onboarding, cross-file refactoring, and feature development.

• Hands-on experience applying AI agents across the software development lifecycle, preferably within production engineering environments.

• Strong interest in AI technologies and their practical application to software development.

• Proactive ownership, with the ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and drive them to completion with limited supervision.

• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, including the ability to challenge assumptions and analyze problems from fundamental principles.

• Demonstrated adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies, frameworks, and programming languages.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong team-oriented mindset.

• Ability to work across different projects and technology stacks while maintaining high standards of quality and security.
