JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manager Project is responsible for all capital projects planning and execution including all other construction and expansion related projects at both the plants.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
  • Assist Head of projects in execution from initiation through closure.
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and project team.
  • Monitor and resolve project issues proactively and escalate critical risks and issues to Head of projects.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets ,cost forecasts , running expenditure and ensure cost control.
  • Ensure compliance with Abbott policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that Engineering and EHS&E Standards of Abbott are implemented in letter and spirit.
  • Ensure compliance of Abbott code of business conduct.
  • Maintain and track project documentation, contracts, change requests, and records and give regular updates to Head of projects.
  • Track project KPIs and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Any other responsibility assigned by Head of projects.
  • Master scheduling and tracking of project activities using tools, including but not limited to MS Project.
  • Update Head of projects on the progress of CEP on agreed frequency.

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

  • Knowledge of civil, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work
  •  Knowledge of project management tools, including but not limited to MS Project, AutoCAD, etc.
  • Understanding of contracts, BOQs, drawings
  • 09 - 12 years’ experience in relevant field.
  • Masters/B.E (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Industrial).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or other project management certifications preferred.
