The Product Manager oversees the business’s direction and strategy through its product portfolio. Owning the overall product portfolio positioning and technology roadmap, they manage and coordinate investments in this portfolio, determine the development path, and decide when to halt investment and retire specific products. They are responsible for understanding the market landscape and prioritizing developments within their portfolio accordingly. They are accountable of the financial performance of the product portfolio. Additionally, the Product Managers lead a team of Product Champions, ensuring high performance through engagement, target setting, coaching, mentoring, training, and career development. In alignment with the Product Lifecycle (PLC), and in relation with the nature of the business, the Production Managers are responsible for: • Team Leadership: Lead a resourceful team in innovating new products or efficiently retiring existing ones. Ensure the team receives ample support through career development and training opportunities. • Vision & Strategy: Define and Communicate business plans, product portfolio vision, strategy, and roadmap in/out of their organization.

  • Ensure alignment with broader company objectives.
  • Market insights: Analyze market landscape and market trends, drive market research, perform competitive intelligence, identify market/product gaps (inclusive of emerging technologies) and define market opportunities for the portfolio.
  • Customer Research: In collaboration with Sales & Commercial (S&C), User Experience (UX) organization and Product Champions, oversee customer research to define portfolio value and market strategies, including pricing.
  • Product Life Cycle: maintain oversight of the roadmap and drive product initiatives from the ideation to retirement phase of the products.
  • Ideation & Innovation: Encourage and foster innovation within the business line and division. In collaboration with Operations and Sales, make decisions on approving ideas or developing solutions that are tailored to specific geographies or customers, balancing time-to-market and cost with comprehensive solutions.
  • Product Development: Driving the New Product Development Roadmap and its business priorities, collaborate with Technology Development to manage the overall portfolio IP strategy and approve product development milestones and key deliverables, such as the Marketing Book and Launch Book.
  • Product Commercialization & Growth: Oversee Product commercialization strategies and track financial performance post-commercialization. Provide support to commercial centers and S&C with overall strategy for proposals of newly commercialized products.
  • Business Development: Drive strategic initiatives in the Basins/GeoUnits and across Divisions to grow the revenue and the profitability of the portfolio.
  • Portfolio Performance: Continually assess the portfolio's performance, be accountable for Marketing KPO Flags (eg. NT1, TT-TVB and TVB) and make strategic recommendations to drive the portfolio’s profitable growth.
  • Strategic Partnership: Manage strategic partner relationships associated with the portfolio.
  • Works with: Customers, Sales & Commercial, Marketing Communications, UX Organization, Technology Development, TLM or Service Delivery.
