Job Overview

Realtor.com® is seeking a diligent and analytical Remote Business Analyst to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. At Realtor.com®, we are committed to providing a positive experience for home buyers, sellers, and dreamers throughout their property journey. We offer industry-leading information, tools, and professional expertise to empower our users. In this role, you will be pivotal in driving the enhancement of our digital platforms, including our innovative My Home™ dashboard, by translating business needs into effective technical solutions. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a market-leading organisation from a fully remote position.

We are offering a competitive hourly rate of $28.00 - $58.00 USD, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities

* Elicit, analyse, and document business and system requirements from stakeholders across the organisation. * Translate complex business needs into clear, well-defined functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for the development teams. * Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams, ensuring a shared understanding of project goals and requirements. * Analyse and model business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation. * Support the project lifecycle by participating in planning, testing, and deployment activities to ensure solutions meet business objectives. * Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including process maps, requirements specifications, and project reports. * Conduct data analysis to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications

Essential: * Proven commercial experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within an agile, technology-focused environment. * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage stakeholders effectively. * Demonstrable experience in requirements gathering, process modelling, and creating detailed documentation. * A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

Desirable: * A bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. * Experience working within the real estate or property technology (PropTech) sector. * Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL or business intelligence platforms. * A professional certification in business analysis (e.g., BCS or IIBA).
