We are currently looking for a senior AI Project Manager to drive technical solutions in our GenAI domain, focused on Customer Experience.
In this role, you will redefine the user journey by leading the delivery of advanced Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems and conversational AI solutions. You’ll act as the strategic bridge between client vision and technical execution, leading discovery workshops, translating business needs into technical roadmaps, and guiding high-performing machine learning teams from ideation through delivery. YOUR IMPACT
Strategic Discovery & Stakeholder Management
- Lead discovery phases using workshops, interviews, and ideation techniques to extract core business needs.
- Technical Translation: Act as the bridge between business and tech, converting complex client preferences into tangible, technical project goals.
- Account Growth: Serve as a trusted advisor, probing for new business opportunities and pitching high-impact solutions to senior leadership.
- Communication: Facilitate synergy between technical experts and stakeholders, adjusting complex messaging to suit the audience’s technical literacy.
Project Planning & Operational Excellence
- End-to-End Delivery: Own the project lifecycle, from creating task backlogs and sprint planning to final deliverable checks.
- Resource & Budget Oversight: Manage resource allocation, timelines, and budgets to ensure projects remain profitable and on schedule.
- Compliance & Safeguarding: Ensure every solution adheres to legal, ethical, security, and user-centric requirements.
- Process Agility: Adapt flexibly to diverse client workflows and agile tooling environments.
Team Leadership & Quality Assurance
- Project Coaching: Mentor team members on professional development and foster a culture of collaboration and group cohesion.
- Quality Control: Define clear roles and responsibilities to ensure the highest standard of delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain rigorous project documentation and lead post-mortem sessions to institutionalize "lessons learned."
WHY YOU
First things first, you:
- Have a master’s degree or equivalent through demonstrated professional experience.
- Have a minimum of 3 years in IT Project Management, with a proven track record of delivering data-centric projects.
- Speak Dutch and English and can work from our office in Amsterdam.
Technical & Domain Expertise
- Data Literacy: Familiarity with data processing and Machine Learning workflows.
- The "GenAI" Edge: Experience in Generative AI project delivery is considered a significant advantage.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to dissect and refine complex client requirements into technical roadmaps.
- Methodology: Expertise in Agile methodologies and proficiency with modern (AI) project management tooling (eg. KANBAN, PRINCE2 methodologies, Jira and other tooling)

- Accountability: A natural ability to lead interdisciplinary teams, hold members accountable for goals, and take full ownership of project outcomes.
- Organisation: Expert-level skills in planning, scheduling, and coordinating cross-functional resources.
