The Data Operations Analyst manages all aspects of data operations within the team, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of financial and investment data. This role provides reliable reporting to stakeholders and requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and collaborative abilities.
Data Management and Processing:
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data extraction and aggregation of complex investment portfolio data using our proprietary aggregation software.
- Identify, investigate and resolve aggregated data for inconsistencies and errors across all balances
- Dig deeply into trading history and end of day holdings data to perform reconciliation, identify account discrepancies, and find potential solutions.
- Review recon output and ensure timely identification and escalation of aging exceptions.
Product and Process development:
- Actively contribute to the enhancement of internal systems to drive efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of data aggregation
- Help build tools and processes to improve and scale the data reconciliation competency.
- Work with the product team on new features to understand cost and process impacts
- Ensure the security and privacy of sensitive data in compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Act as escalation point for queries from Sales, Client Success & Product team to resolve clients' data-related questions
- Liaise with custodian representatives to address gaps found in financial data sources
- Provide training and support to staff on data-related processes and systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field, Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must, proficiency in Python, SQL is a bonus.

- Understanding of financial instruments across asset classes.
- A willingness to work with large data sets, approaches it as if it’s a fun puzzle to solve.
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proactive in seeking workflow improvements.
- Experience with Tableau, Trifacta, or other data wrangling tools is highly preferred.
