React Native Engineer

Shuru is an AI-native engineering services company building products with leading startups, enterprises, and well-funded scale-ups across India, Southeast Asia, the UAE, and global markets. Our engineers work in small, dedicated squads, ship in weekly cycles, and use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot as a standard part of how we build. We are looking for a Founding Engineer with strong experience in React Native and React.js to build and scale products from scratch. You will work closely with the founders to translate ideas into high-quality mobile and web applications, while shaping the product, architecture, and engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Build mobile and web products from 0 to 1 using React Native and React.js.

• Own the complete development lifecycle, from architecture and development to deployment and monitoring.

• Develop scalable, reusable, and high-performance frontend components.

• Integrate applications with backend APIs, databases, authentication, and third-party services.

• Work closely with founders, designers, and product teams to define and launch new features.

• Make key technical decisions and establish engineering standards and best practices.

• Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and user experience.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with React Native, React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.

• Experience building and launching products from scratch.

• Strong understanding of mobile and web application architecture.

• Experience with REST APIs, state management, authentication, and third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with mobile app deployment on the App Store and Google Play Store.

• Product-first mindset with strong ownership and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
