The role bridges engineering expertise with commercial execution to deliver revenue growth.
1. Business Development and Sales
- Identify and develop new sales opportunities in assigned sectors/segments/territories
- Engage consultants, EPC contractors, and end users
- Promote company technical solutions and value propositions
- Support strategic account penetration plans
- Track market intelligence and competitor positioning
2. Technical Solution Development
- Interpret customer requirements and prepare technical proposals
- Conduct feasibility assessments and preliminary sizing
- Coordinate with projects/service teams for optimized solutions
- Support bid clarifications and technical negotiations
- Participate in site visits and technical presentations
3. Commercial Execution
- Prepare cost estimates and commercial offers
- Support contract negotiations
- Maintain pipeline forecasts and CRM updates
- Ensure alignment with margin targets and approval processes
- Assist in closing high-value opportunities
4. Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Act as technical advisor to customers
- Support after sales coordination when required
- Ensure customer satisfaction throughout project lifecycle
5. Supervision of Trainee Engineers
- Provide structured guidance and mentorship
- Review trainee technical work and proposals
- Support development of product knowledge
- Assign learning tasks and field exposure
- Monitor performance and provide feedback
- Assist in building future independent sales capability
6. Internal Coordination
- Interface with engineering, project, and service teams
- Support marketing campaigns and technical seminars
- Contribute to product positioning strategy
- Provide feedback from market intel to management
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 -10 years’ experience in sales of generators, machines, equipment, and automobiles
- Exposure to industrial solutions, power generation, compression, or EPC environments
- An engineering graduate, (Electrical, Mechanical or related engineering discipline) from a recognized institution
