Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and possess an active DoD Secret clearance. A Security+ CE certification or equivalent IAM 1 baseline certification is required, along with experience in RMF and eMASS.

COLSA is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst in Orlando, FL to support the development, maintenance, and sustainment of the network accreditation posture of the Digital Integration Laboratory (DIL) in accordance with current DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) security guidance and regulatory policies. This role is responsible for supporting the DIL network’s Authority to Operate (ATO), as well as incident monitoring, detection, analysis, and response efforts.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential functions)

  • Support risk assessments and may provide recommendations for security process programming improvements.

  • Assist in a wide range of Cyber security issues including architecture, firewalls, data traffic, and network access.

  • Assist with assessments of system’s security posture. 

  • Assist with security testing to verify cyber security integrity of the system. 

  • Involved in the integration of architectural features into existing infrastructures.

  • May be involved in the resolution of integration/testing issues. 

  • May assist with encryption, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies and information technology security research.  

  • Prepare and deliver the documentation, technical data, and computer data needed for the submission of Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) documentation in support of RMF activities.

  • Control connections and access to eMASS, including user accounts and privileges, in accordance with Management Information Security Committee (MISC) policies.

  • Manage and complete eMASS records for each system and manage those through the RMF process.
