About the role
Work Location: Bangpoo Reporting To: QA Supervisor
Responsible for the quality assurance of raw materials, packaging materials, and trading products through sampling, testing, inspection, and documentation to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Perform routine quality assurance tasks as outlined in the Quality Policies Manual and associated procedures and work instructions, including but not limited to:
- Raw material/Packaging material sampling
- Raw material/Packaging material testing
- Trading product checking
- Document verification that related with RM/PM/Trading product.
- Input quality internal tests / result from supplier COA into the SAP system as part of positive release / transfer stock or monitoring program of RM/PM and trading product.
- Non-Conformances are raised and hold/blocked in SAP system with communication concerned function put hold tag to be placed on NC Stock that is located at the Bangpoo site and external WH site.
- Coordinate with Internal / External team about predelivery of RM / PM plan for perform RM sampling plan to QA RM staff.
- Maintain the record/document system of RM/PM/trading product.
- Collect and handling the retention sample of RM/PM as quality plan.
- Support with the Raw materials / Packaging material part for customer complaint investigation / traceability / mock recall.
- Collect and retain retention sample of RM/PM.
- Coordinate with concerned department to support internal testing RM for extended shelf life.
- Liaise with other Departments on site to ensure continual improvement of RM/PM and trading product and quality systems; and assist in individual problem resolutions
- Ensure that Laboratory and equipment are kept clean and tidy
- Daily calibration of equipment before testing
- Support Internal /External quality system audit.
- Support site GHP, and other FSQ program support.
- Support as assignment from Quality Manager / Assistance QA manager /QA Supervisor
Qualifications and skills
- Diploma or Degree in Food Science or relevant laboratory and/or Industry experience
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role in food manufacturing environment
- Appropriate experience in food testing in food laboratories.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work independently and proactively, and make appropriate decision with limited resources during night shift
- Organized and pay strong attention to details
- Ability to meet deadlines, self-managed and ability to handle multiple tasks with speed and high accuracy
