POSITION PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The Account Project Manager is responsible for driving the completion of sales contracts from implementing customer POs into Oracle and execution of order throughout the manufacturing process, by working closely with engineering, planning, and production to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:• Manage Purchase Orders: Have direct relationships with customers, navigating issues and negotiating solutions to ensure efficient and effective production. Book POs, review and track pricing changes, quantity changes, due date changes and product changes. Ensure all POs are delivered by the due date, staying in constant communication with the customer.
- Attend various trade shows each year, help with show prep and booth logistics
- Find ways to improve internal processes and exceed customers’ expectations.
- Work with all departments cross functionally to build packaging specs that meet the customer’s requirements.
- Problem solve issues as they arrive while coordinating with internal departments and the customer.
- Excellent organizational skills, teamwork, problem solving and communication skills.
- Demonstrate initiative and self-management.
- Working knowledge of order, material process and transaction throughout the manufacturing process.
- Capability to multi-task with multiple interruptions a day.
- Great attention to detail with a commitment to quality, accuracy and timelines.
- Capable of maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- Manage customer inventory & samples working with quality and warehouse teams to ensure customer receives them in a timely manner when requested.
- Work directly with Sales and the Strategic Project Manager.
- Meet with customers on a regular basis. Supply information, production updates, status and be able to follow up with any questions that can’t be answered at the time of the visit.
- Attend daily production meetings and report back on any tasks that were assigned to you during the meeting.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:• High school diploma and 2-year associates degree or equivalent.
- 5 years’ related work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience and strong understanding of Oracle and Microsoft programs.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and typing.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing, with other managers and staff. This position requires someone highly motivated and resistant to stress, flexible, decisive, tactful, respectful, and uses good judgment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The employee may be required to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: This is a production/office environment which includes loud noise levels for extended periods of time, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking, climbing stairs, strong odors, confined spaces, warm and cold temperatures, wet/slippery and slick surface environment.
