About the Role
You will take a key role in securing offshore and onshore installation subcontracts in a market where timing, quality, and commercial judgment matter. In this role, you work close to projects and procurement, making sure subcontracting supports both delivery needs and the broader company strategy.
You will be the main point of responsibility for subcontracting activities within projects and collaborate with stakeholders across functions to ensure the right agreements are in place at the right time. The role combines commercial ownership, project understanding, and close dialogue with both internal experts and external suppliers. Job Description
- You will drive subcontracting activities for offshore and onshore installation services in ongoing projects.
- You will secure safe and cost-effective subcontracts that align with project requirements and company strategy.
- You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the right quality, scope, and timing in subcontracted deliveries.
- You will lead commercial and contractual discussions together with legal experts and other specialists.
- You will evaluate supplier offerings from both a commercial and technical perspective, including scope and time plan.
- You will contribute to continuous improvement in procurement ways of working and project execution.
Requirements
- You have an M.Sc. degree in business, engineering, economics, or a similar field.
- You have experience in procurement and/or sourcing, including complex subcontracting.
- You have project management experience in a cross-functional setup.
- You are comfortable handling commercial and contractual discussions together with legal experts.
- You understand technical scope as well as time planning in project-based work.
- You have a commercial mindset and are motivated to secure subcontracts in a challenging market.
Nice to have
- Experience from project-driven environments where supplier collaboration is critical to delivery success.
- Experience working with installation services or similarly complex subcontracted scopes.
