SALESFORCE IT PROJECT MANAGER (junior) - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a junior Salesforce  IT Project Manager you will lead and deliver group-wide digital transformation initiatives with a strong focus on B2B eCommerce, CRM, and back-office efficiency.

In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Operations to translate business needs into successful digital solutions. You will manage hands-on delivery of projects primarily within the Salesforce ecosystem, including Commerce Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Service Cloud.

This role requires strong collaboration skills, a pragmatic mindset, and a hands-on, can-do attitude.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Project & Delivery Management

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of digital transformation projects, from initiation to rollout and adoption
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including:
  • B2B webshop implementations
  • New project scoping, discovery, planning and execution
  • CRM project management
  • Back-office and operational efficiency initiatives
  • Define project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and dependencies
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Track, monitor and report project and product KPIs

Stakeholder & Business Collaboration

  • Act as the primary bridge between IT, business stakeholders, and external partners
  • Facilitate workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business teams
  • Translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements
  • Proactively manage stakeholder expectations and communication

Salesforce Ecosystem

  • Work hands-on within the Salesforce ecosystem, including:
  • Salesforce Commerce Cloud (B2B)
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Salesforce Service Cloud
  • Coordinate with internal teams, Salesforce administrators, developers, and implementation partners
  • Support user adoption, change management, and continuous improvement

Adoption & Change

  • Drive user adoption and ensure solutions deliver measurable business value
  • Ensure successful transition to internal support, including training, documentation, and operational readiness.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation

WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE

Required Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role

Proven experience with Salesforce, including:

  • Commerce Cloud (B2B preferred)
  • Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

Strong experience delivering CRM, eCommerce, or digital transformation projects

Solid understanding of business processes in sales, customer service, and operations

Experience working in cross-functional, international, or group environments

Comfortable working in a hands-on role, not just coordinating from a distance

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities. Comfortable managing complex programs with multiple vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical streams.
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
  • Can-do, proactive, and ownership-driven attitude
  • Ability to translate business strategy into executable projects
  • Strong ability to work in multi-functional teams with shared responsibilities across support, admin, and product roles.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project methodologies is a plus

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce certifications (any cloud)
  • Experience with B2B and/or B2C eCommerce platforms
  • Background in digital transformation or system modernization programs
  • Experience working with external system integrators or vendors
