Accountabilities: As a Software QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality through comprehensive testing practices, environment management, and collaboration throughout the software development lifecycle. You will act as a quality advocate by identifying risks, improving processes, and helping teams deliver reliable solutions.

• Design and execute comprehensive manual test strategies across frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and enterprise workflows.

• Translate product requirements into risk-based test coverage that protects customer experience and product reliability.

• Build, configure, and maintain stable test environments that support effective release cycles.

• Validate application functionality across Linux and Windows environments, including cloud-based and distributed systems.

• Test SaaS and integration platforms, ensuring reliability across different services, endpoints, and system dependencies.

• Perform API testing using REST/SOAP services, validating JSON/XML payloads and integration workflows.

• Test integrations with databases, CRM/ERP platforms, external services, messaging systems, and enterprise applications.

• Analyze defects, create detailed bug reports, and collaborate with engineering teams to accelerate issue resolution.

• Contribute to Agile/Scrum processes by improving acceptance criteria, testability, and overall quality practices.

• Monitor system behavior using testing, debugging, and observability tools to identify performance or reliability issues.

• Partner with product managers and developers during design and development phases to improve product quality.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by introducing better testing processes, documentation, and quality metrics.

• Leverage AI-powered tools where relevant to improve productivity, test analysis, and quality engineering practices.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced QA professional with strong expertise in manual testing, enterprise applications, and complex technical environments. You should have a strong quality mindset, excellent analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with distributed teams.

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, or a related software testing role.

• Strong experience designing and executing end-to-end manual testing strategies for frontend and backend systems.

• Proven ability to manage complex test environments and support reliable software releases.

• Experience testing SaaS, iPaaS, cloud platforms, and distributed system architectures.

• Strong understanding of Linux environments and experience validating applications across multiple operating systems.

• Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs, JSON/XML data structures, and enterprise integrations.

• Knowledge of databases, CRM/ERP systems, messaging queues, and integration technologies.

• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, or other containerized environments is highly valuable.

• Familiarity with tools such as Postman, SoapUI, Datadog, APM platforms, or similar testing and monitoring solutions.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Strong defect management, troubleshooting, and analytical problem-solving skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across global teams.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining ownership and accountability.

• Experience with test automation using TypeScript, Python, or similar technologies is a plus.

• Curiosity and experience using AI tools to enhance software testing and engineering productivity.
