As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business & financial analyst Intern to join our Global Travel Retail Team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our business through insightful performance analysis.

Position Overview:

Among the Business analytics team, you will have the role of business and financial analyst intern. You will contribute to the coordination, consolidation and analysis of business activity and financial performance of global travel retail, producing monthly reports, and building new performance analysis. You will play an important role in enhancing our existing performance review for internal communication at corporate and regional level to support strategic decisions, ensuring accuracy, and presenting information in a clear and concise manner.

The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills and is a collaborative team player with a strong willingness to work in a highly international environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Business reporting

  • Elaborate monthly report on global travel retail performance
  • Develop ad hoc analysis upon management request

2. Financial analysis:

  • Assist the department in building new transversal financial analysis such as dedicated P&L
  • Analyze and challenge relevant KPI
  • Follow up of Industry key players financial results

3. Data management

  • Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships with travel retail data providers.
  • Liaise with regional teams for the consolidation of internal travel retail data
  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of data sources, fostering trust and transparency.
  • Review and validate data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Participate in the development of new reporting tools in collaboration with IT teams

4. Support and Collaboration:

  • Assist the Global Travel Team on its functional budget monitoring
  • Assist the Business analytics team in daily operations.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional team members to achieve common goals and objectives.
  • Responsively address Ad hoc analysis requests and questions from CHANEL colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Business School or University (major in Finance is a plus).
  • Proven experience in financial or business analysis or similar role, (a previous experience in the luxury and/or travel retail industry is a plus).
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with agile mindset.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High English written and verbal communication skills as the candidate will have to communicate with international counterparts
  • Internship agreement required

Job Conditions:

An internship agreement is mandatory for this position and must meet the following conditions:

  • The internship must be part of your study program.
  • The internship must be required for the completion of your degree.
  • The internship must be validated by the award of academic credits.

  • Contract: Full-time internship (100%) and in-person
  • Start date: January 4, 2027
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Working days: 5 days a week, Monday to Friday
  • Location: Geneva
  • Fluent in French and English
