Your Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented manufacturing QA engineer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the manufacturing quality of final testing and finishing production while serving as the primary coordinator for customers and external certification audits. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between internal quality processes and external customer expectations, ensuring manufacturing quality compliance, audit readiness, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacturing Line Quality

  • Manage customer incident case, working with process engineering to run process investigation, consolidate final report and present to customer.
  • Manage non-conformance material through material review board with local and division engineering team to review risk and decision making.
  • Lead process engineering team to apply 8D problem solving method for all quality related case such as CAR, internal incident & event, customer incident, external excursion.
  • Drive continuous improvement in final test and finishing manufacturing line quality through program of CDIF, Obeya task force and 6 sigma methodology.
  • Participate in the FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) review and validation if when new changes or new detection in manufacturing process
  • Ensure the manufacturing process quality control in compliance with IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, and ST quality standards.
  • Involve in Internal VDA 6.3 process audits, monitoring findings and validate to ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Conduct manufacturing line shopfloor audit and Genba to ensure line implementation and compliance to SOP and company quality requirement.
  • Manage and maintain the Document Management System (DMS) for manufacturing quality control document such as OCAP, work instruction, training material, process control plan and product instruction and records are up-to-date and accessible.
  • Coordinate the proliferation of audit actions across departments to ensure effective closure and verification of effectiveness.
  • NPI QA to manage process change in test program, new production introduction and improve test program firewall detection for in-process and customer incident.

Customer Audit & Visit Management

  • Act as the primary coordinator for all customer audits, customer visits, and external quality assessments, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Plan and organize audit schedules, meeting agendas, plant tours, and all associated logistics in collaboration with relevant testing & finishing departments.
  • Ensure the timely collection, validation and submission of audit evidence, responses, and requested documentation to customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to address audit observations, non-conformities, and customer concerns, driving the timely implementation of CAPA and verifying their effectiveness.

Profile (Candidate's Skills & Competencies)

  • Audit & Compliance: Proven experience in coordinating customer, internal, and external certification audits in a manufacturing environment.
  • Customer Focus: Strong customer communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to ensure process quality control align with customer requirement.
  • Technical Knowledge: Good understanding of customer-specific quality requirements, audit expectations, and standards like IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA 6.3.
  • Communication: Excellent report writing, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • Organizational: Strong planning and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple audit activities and priorities simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: A continuous improvement mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with local, cross-functional teams and multiple stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and other document management software

Your Skills & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-5 years of experience in semiconductor backend manufacturing process(especially final test and finishing), internal auditing and managing customer audits/visits in a manufacturing environment.
  • Standards Knowledge: Good knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and VDA 6.3 requirements.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Certified Internal Auditor and/or VDA 6.3 Internal Auditor.
