The Data & Business Analyst – Marketing ensures high data quality, business-ready service data across local and global systems, supporting IB readiness and marketing operations. The role focuses on data accuracy, governance, automation opportunities, and process improvements to reduce manual effort and enhance reliability.

This position improves service data quality and IB readiness, enables efficient data cleansing, and supports better business visibility through stakeholder coordination and process optimization.

Data Quality & Governance

  • Identify inconsistencies, missing data, duplicates and anomalies across local and global datasets.
  • Improves the reliability of service data used for business reviews, campaign targeting, FSR performance tracking and marketing decisions.
  • Supports governance adherence by validating business logic, documenting data corrections and enabling root cause analysis.
  • Accelerates IB creation and cleansing initiatives by reconciling data from greenfield, brownfield, partner and other source systems.
  • Strengthens country enablement by supporting local users through DUT updates, training collaboration and data maintenance best practices.
  • Creates a foundation for automation by identifying repetitive manual tasks and recommending scalable improvements.
  • Validate business logic and ensure alignment with governance standards and data maintenance rules.
  • Maintain correction logs and evidence to support auditability, traceability and root cause analysis.
  • Perform manual corrections in relevant source systems, tools or approved data update channels.
  • Increase Track Rate, Clean Rate %. Drive channels and strategic programs to improve these numbers.
  • Own the Master Data management portfolio including part code management (through and through), material readiness in the system, material availability for order booking and material segregation based on the business requirement

Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders

  • Identify gaps in current processes and implement improvements

Communicate project updates, progress, and key risks to leadership Collaborate cross-functionally to drive alignment and execution

Data Cleansing, Reconciliation & IB Creation

  • Execute ad hoc and initiative-based data cleaning activities for service and marketing datasets.
  • Run manual reconciliations across greenfield, brownfield, partner and source-system datasets.
  • Assist in Install Base creation using multiple sources of data while ensuring completeness and quality.
  • Support countries in updating data through DUT and other approved data management tools.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Country Enablement

  • Collaborate with Country Local Marketing Managers, FSRs, Sales, Order Management, CCC and other concerned teams to drive high-quality service data.
  • Work with training teams to support local-user enablement on data maintenance practices, tools and governance expectations.
  • Coordinate with global and local stakeholders to resolve data gaps and ensure timely closure of cleansing activities.

Reporting, Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare structured summaries, trend inputs and exception reports for management review.
  • Identify repetitive manual processes and propose automation opportunities using Excel, Power BI.
  • Support dashboarding and business insights for data quality, service readiness and operational tracking.

  • Business Impact: Improved IB quality, campaign-readiness, service-data reliability and leadership visibility.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong collaboration with country, global and cross-functional teams to close data issues effectively.
  • Digital & Automation Mindset: Identification of repetitive tasks and development of scalable templates, dashboards or automation ideas.
  • Data Governance & Compliance: Maintaining correction traceability and supporting root cause analysis to reduce recurring data quality gaps.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering such as Electrical, Electronics, Industrial or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in data quality, data management, marketing operations, business analytics or operations support.
  • Experience working with local and global stakeholders in a matrix environment.
  • Exposure to service data, Install Base, CRM / ERP records, data cleansing or reconciliation activities is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for validation, reconciliation, mapping and exception analysis.
  • Working knowledge of Power BI or similar reporting / visualization tools.
  • SQL, ERP / CRM, Salesforce, DUT or data-governance tools preferred.
  • Ability to structure large datasets, identify anomalies and translate findings into actionable business inputs.
