About the Role
As a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer (remote), you will help build, operate and continuously enhance the cybersecurity technologies that protect TD SYNNEX worldwide. You will be responsible for the engineering, integration and optimization of enterprise security platforms, ensuring high visibility, operational excellence and effective threat detection across cloud and on-premises environments.
You will work at the heart of our cybersecurity ecosystem, collaborating with Security Operations, Cloud, Infrastructure and Architecture teams to strengthen our cyber defense capabilities through innovation, automation and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Implement, maintain and optimize enterprise cybersecurity platforms used across our global organization.
- Provide advanced operational support and troubleshooting for security monitoring, analytics and reporting solutions.
- Design and develop integrations, onboarding new data sources and improving telemetry collection across multiple environments.
- Build and enhance detection rules, correlation logic and automation workflows to improve threat visibility and response capabilities.
- Develop meaningful dashboards, reporting solutions and KPIs that provide actionable insights for both technical and business stakeholders.
- Drive platform modernization initiatives and identify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards and operational procedures.
- Support knowledge-sharing, mentoring and continuous improvement initiatives within the cybersecurity team.
What We're Looking For
- Several years of experience in Cybersecurity, Security Operations, Platform Engineering or a related field.
- Experience with SIEM, monitoring, detection, analytics and security automation platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills within complex enterprise environments.
- Good understanding of cloud technologies, security operations and infrastructure components.
- Experience integrating and managing multiple security tools and data sources.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment.
