The Position
The Opportunity
As a Senior Finance Analyst, you will play a cross-functional foundational role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of our financial records and translate complex data into actionable financial insights. This position bridges day-to-day accounting transactions with high-level financial reporting and analysis, allowing you to serve as a trusted partner to cross-functional teams. In this role, you will maximize financial accuracy and customer satisfaction by resolving billing discrepancy issues, ensuring complex contract terms align with invoicing schedules, and protecting customer-company relations through proactive communication.
Working with an enterprise view, you will act as a key resource in providing specialized analytical support, anticipating business needs, and delivering high-quality solutions to complex financial challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting & Month-End Close: Executes specialized month-end close activities, including journal entries and open PO accrual management, while supporting finance partners with operational tasks. Performs analyses to track and maintain product placements.
- Compliance & Audit Oversight: Serves as the primary point of contact for audit support, ensuring all documentation meets internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Project support: Identifies and investigates issues related to assigned projects and proactively anticipates needs. Selects approach from accepted body of methodology or recommended alternatives.
- Discrepancy Investigation & Resolution: Tracks, analyzes, and investigates customer billing inquiries or disputes. Researches transaction histories and collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and issue adjustments or credits when necessary. Communicates synthesized analysis, findings and recommendations to stakeholders so that conclusions and implications are understood.
- Process Optimization: Drives operational excellence by continuously looking for efficiencies, performing process improvements, and thoroughly documenting necessary changes to optimize financial workflows.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field; Master’s degree, MBA, or CPA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of related experience
- SAP Experience, FI-CO module preferred
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles, such as GAAP and/or IFRS
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Excellent analytical skills and experience
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Strong financial acumen and business knowledge
- Demonstrates an ability to influence
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Indiana is $81,200.00 - $150,800. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
