About the Role As a Technical Consultant - Salesforce, you will provide technical leadership across Salesforce platform delivery, solution design, integration, automation, and operational excellence. Working closely with customers, project teams, and business stakeholders, you will design, develop, and optimise Salesforce solutions that help organisations achieve their strategic objectives. This role combines hands-on Salesforce expertise with leadership, consulting, and solution architecture responsibilities, ensuring platforms remain secure, scalable, and aligned to business needs while supporting long-term digital transformation outcomes.

What You’ll Do
At the moment, as Technical Consultant - Salesforce you will be focused on:
- Leading the design, development, configuration, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across complex customer environments.
- Providing technical leadership and guidance across Salesforce platform capabilities, custom development, integrations, and automation.
- Collaborating with customers, project managers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Producing technical designs, architecture recommendations, and implementation plans aligned with best practice.
- Designing and delivering integrations between Salesforce and enterprise applications using APIs and integration platforms.
- Supporting operational excellence through platform optimisation, performance tuning, and ongoing enhancements.
- Contributing to solution governance, technical standards, and future Salesforce platform roadmaps.
- Providing expert advice on Salesforce capabilities, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities.
- Mentoring team members and supporting the resolution of complex technical challenges.
- Promoting security, compliance, data integrity, and platform governance best practices.
- Ensuring adherence to Datacom health and safety policies and procedures.

What You’ll Bring
Required experience:
- 3+ years of Salesforce consulting, development, or technical delivery experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and platform capabilities.
- Proven experience delivering complex Salesforce implementations and enhancements.
- Experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and Salesforce integrations.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security models, and data management.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise applications and third-party platforms.
- Technical leadership experience within complex customer environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, planning, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
Nice to have:
- Salesforce Platform Developer I or II certification.
- Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification.
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certification.
- Experience with MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
- Experience delivering Salesforce solutions within enterprise or government environments.
- Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within Salesforce ecosystems.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
- Experience with Salesforce Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Data Cloud.
- Strong mentoring and people leadership experience.
