Parra Consulting Group (PCG) is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support DOI IBC-AQD Mission Support Services. This position leads financial analysis, budget execution, and reporting activities across the contract's acquisition support portfolio and serves as a technical resource to junior and mid-level analysts.
This successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Lead cost and price analysis for complex or high-dollar acquisition actions.
- Oversee invoice review, budget execution tracking, and financial reconciliation across assigned task areas.
- Develop and present financial status reports and analyses to Government leadership.
- Advise acquisition and program staff on funding availability, obligations, and financial risk.
- Support contract closeout financial reconciliation and audit response activities.
- Mentor junior and mid-level financial analysts and quality-review their deliverables.
- Contribute to process-improvement initiatives for financial tracking and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field plus 7-10 years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Moderate Risk Public Trust determination.
- S. citizenship required to support this federal contract.
Required Experience
- Extensive experience with federal budget execution, cost/price analysis, and financial reporting.
- Demonstrated experience briefing financial analysis to senior Government stakeholders.
- Experience leading or mentoring analyst-level staff.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience directly supporting DOI, IBC, or another civilian shared-services finance organization.
- Experience with financial systems modernization or dashboard/reporting tool development.
- Relevant certification (e.g., CDFM, CGFM, or CPA).
