The Coalition is seeking a Campaign QA Lead for a 12-month fixed term contract. In this position, you will work with the QA Manager and Producers to ensure testing coverage and support needs are being met. Working closely with the QA Manager and other QA Leads, you'll coordinate requests for additional resources and assistance as needed, including staffing and equipment, while helping to refine team processes. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for studio production and leadership regarding testing health and quality within your area of responsibility.

In partnership with Development Support and Core QA Test Coordinators, you'll create and manage testing schedules, priorities, and delivery plans. The role includes participating in lead-level meetings to identify risks, provide estimates on testing capacity and coverage, raise concerns, and gather feedback.

As the face of QA at the project or title level, you'll help build confidence in testing coverage and overall quality. You'll also coach and mentor Development Support and Test Coordinators, while remaining ready to jump into hands-on testing when needed to support the team and project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper testing coverage and execution for Campaign team.
  • Mentor and observe Development Support members, providing guidance and feedback.
  • Partner with Producers to align testing priorities with milestone and launch goals.
  • Own overall game health assessment and testing coverage.
  • Drive validation of QoL updates and Campaign health.
  • Develop and execute regression strategies across critical gameplay experiences.
  • Investigate and validate live issues, player-reported bugs, and hotfixes.
  • Coordinate testing across Staging and Retail environments.
  • Lead patch readiness testing and release quality sign-off.
  • Identify quality risks, coverage gaps, and release blockers, escalating when required.
  • Estimate test efforts and communicate requirements clearly to both the QA and Production team.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in a technology-related field OR 1+ year(s) technology industry or internship experience.• OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience coordinating QA, development, or cross-functional teams through complex requirements and shifting priorities.
  • Experience planning and coordinating test efforts, including estimating testing scope, capacity, and schedules. Using data and reporting to inform recommendations, testing priorities, and decision-making.
  • Ability to organize, maintain, and communicate information effectively through clear documentation and collaboration with QA, Production, and Development teams.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale multiplayer, campaign, or live-service testing activities.
  • Experience contributing across multiple stages of the game development lifecycle, from pre-production through launch and post-launch support.
  • Ability to translate design, feature, and project requirements into test coverage plans, test cases, and actionable feedback.
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, or sharing knowledge with team members across varying levels and disciplines.

The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is $59,100-102,400 CAD per year.
