Responsibilities:

  • Design, support, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems for the testbed environment
  • Development of IT solutions for technical challenges including implementation, consulting internal stakeholders about technological solutions, and defining scopes of service
  • DevOps for testbed and user-specific applications throughout the complete lifecycle
  • Troubleshooting and resolution of hardware and software issues
  • Software change management, e.g., GitLab

What we are looking for:

  • A university degree in computer science or a comparable technical subject
  • Professional experience as a Linux server administrator; experience with virtualisation and backup systems is desirable
  • Required: programming knowledge in C/C++, PHP, JavaScript, and experience working with SQL databases (MySQL)
  • Strong commitment and willingness to perform, flexibility and reliability, a careful and responsible working style as well as strong teamwork skills
  • Good verbal and written skills in both German and English
