What you will do:

Guidehouse is seeking a Cloud Architect to design, implement, and oversee secure, scalable cloud and data platform solutions supporting enterprise analytics, data, and AI initiatives. This role provides hands-on technical leadership and architectural direction across cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and DevSecOps environments.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Design end-to-end cloud and data platform architectures aligned to enterprise analytics, data management, and AI use cases.
  • Lead infrastructure, platform engineering, and DevSecOps activities across cloud environments.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership across AWS, Snowflake, and Databricks platforms.
  • Support architecture reviews, technical design sessions, and solution demonstrations with client stakeholders.
  • Ensure cloud solutions align with security, governance, resiliency, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with data architects, engineers, operations leads, and program leadership to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Guide implementation teams on architectural standards, patterns, and best practices.

What you will need:

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS "PUBLIC TRUST
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • TEN (10) or more years of experience in cloud architecture, platform engineering, or infrastructure design roles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Snowflake, Databricks etc.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and platform automation.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale data and analytics environments.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the DC area.

What would be nice to have:

  • Cloud and platform certifications (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Experience with Alteryx or analytics platform integrations.
  • Prior experience supporting financial services or regulatory organizations.
