We are seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to design, automate, and manage modern cloud-native infrastructure while enabling fast, secure, and reliable software delivery. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in Python, Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) who are passionate about infrastructure automation, DevOps best practices, and continuous improvement.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in building scalable CI/CD pipelines, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automating deployment processes, and maintaining highly available production environments. You will collaborate closely with Development, QA, Security, and Cloud teams to streamline software delivery, improve operational efficiency, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise applications. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale cloud platforms, drive automation initiatives, and contribute to the organization's DevOps strategy.
Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
- Build, optimize, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to support automated build, testing, and deployment workflows.
- Develop automation scripts and operational tools using Python to improve infrastructure management and deployment efficiency.
- Implement and manage configuration management processes using Ansible across development, testing, and production environments.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, ensuring scalability, availability, and performance.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams to automate release processes and improve software delivery pipelines.
- Monitor infrastructure health, troubleshoot deployment failures, and resolve production incidents in a timely manner.
- Implement security best practices, access controls, infrastructure hardening, and compliance measures across cloud environments.
- Optimize infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and deployment strategies to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Participate in architecture discussions, technology evaluations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance DevOps capabilities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, automation standards, and operational runbooks.
- Mentor team members and promote DevOps best practices, automation, and operational excellence across engineering teams.
What Makes You a Great Fit• 10+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Cloud Infrastructure, or Platform Engineering roles.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins for automation and infrastructure management.
- Extensive experience working with at least one major public cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, cloud networking, and infrastructure automation.
- Experience managing Linux/Unix environments, shell scripting, and cloud-native infrastructure.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of cloud security best practices, identity and access management, and infrastructure resilience.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with experience working across cross-functional engineering teams.
