Frey Lutz LLC is seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for managing commercial HVAC and Plumbing projects ranging in size from approximately $25,000 to $1,000,000, from initial planning and project turnover through successful completion and closeout. The Project Manager will work closely with customers, field leadership, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to oversee the successful execution of HVAC and Plumbing projects. This individual will coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, materials, and financial performance to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the quality standards expected by Frey Lutz.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage multiple projects ranging from $25,000 to $1,000,000 in value.
· Oversee projects from turnover and planning through completion and closeout.
· Review project scope, contracts, drawings, specifications, schedules, and budgets.
· Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and vendors.
· Monitor project costs, labor, material usage, profitability, and overall financial performance.
· Identify potential project risks, delays, or cost concerns and proactively develop solutions.
· Prepare, track, and manage change orders and additional work.
· Coordinate purchasing and material requirements to support project schedules.
· Maintain regular communication with customers, general contractors, field leadership, and internal teams.
· Conduct project meetings and provide updates regarding schedule, budget, manpower, and project status.
· Partner closely with field leadership to ensure crews have the information, materials, and resources needed to perform their work efficiently.
· Review and approve project-related invoices, purchase orders, and other documentation as required.
· Ensure projects meet company safety, quality, and operational standards.
· Maintain accurate project documentation and complete required project closeout procedures.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while identifying opportunities for future work.
· Qualifications
· Previous project management experience within the commercial construction, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, or related industry preferred.
· Strong understanding of construction project management, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control.
· Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work effectively with field employees, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and company leadership.
· Strong computer skills and ability to learn and utilize project management and construction software.
· Ability to take ownership of projects and drive them from start to successful completion.

Qualifications
- A minimum of 7 years of mechanical contracting experience
- Understanding of project budgets and schedules
- OSHA 10 with the ability to get OSHA 30
- Experience managing crews, subcontractors, vendors
- Ability to read blueprints and technical documents
- Financial Acumen with the ability to forecast, cost tracking, and manage project budgets
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Microsoft Office Software
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Valid Driver’s license required
