Financial Analyst
Ashville, OH (fully in office)DescriptionWe are seeking a Contract Financial Analyst with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience to join our Manufacturing Finance team. As that Financial Analyst, you will touch every area of plant operational excellence including budget, forecast, KPI’s, Cost of quality, engineering, working capital, continuous improvement as a business partner to site leadership/cost center leaders. This is an onsite assignment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial modeling, experience in plant manufacturing environments, and will be capable of building strong business relations with internal customers. WHAT YOU’LL DO• End to end financial reporting management of multiple manufacturing functions: including, but not limited to, headcount, cash/working capital, plant and product line profitability, variance analysis, site reporting• Month-end close and reporting, departmental budget & forecasting• Perform in-depth quantitative analyses including variance analysis (actuals vs. budget/forecast/prior), trend analysis, scenario modeling, and root-cause investigations to identify performance drivers and risks.• Support cross-functional teams with make vs buy and what-if scenarios to support optimized business outcomes• Establish transparency into Plant Manufacturing costs to streamline the monthly Site Statistics reporting and enhance reporting accuracy.• Work functionally with Division Finance, site cost accounting and Manufacturing Functional teams to own consolidation of Product Revenue and costing models, business case analyses, and decision-making frameworks.• Develop complex financial models to assess various financial scenarios and support strategic initiatives.• Implement standardized work for scrap, rework, financial reporting, etc., including desk procedures• Both independently and in concert with others, Identify, track and implement process improvementsTop Skills DetailsFinancial analysis,Accounting,Financial reportingQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in finance, or accounting• Previous Oracle Fusion Experience a plus• 5 years of experience in manufacturing finance and/or FP&A, Cost Accounting, in a high volume MFG environment• Strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts, plant manufacturing.• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information in an understandable manner.• Strong analytical aptitude, intuitively think about problems in terms of numbers and business outcomes.o Ability to quickly execute analyses in Excel & translate findings to business partnerso Ability to create substantive presentations, focused on information insight• Comfortable communicating broadly and having a lot of eyes on your work. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
