As a Lead Game Developer, you'll focus on building complex features and shaping the technical architecture of our game, while also guiding and supporting a team of game developers. Working closely with your producer, the tech lead, and multi-disciplinary game team, you'll play a central role in helping everyone do their best work and craft amazing experiences for millions of players.

• Crafting key product features from initial design all the way to implementation.

• Ensuring top-notch code quality, documentation, and overall game performance.

• Taking ownership of technical architecture, ensuring robust and scalable solutions for game features.

• Leading technical aspects across the project, fostering high-quality code implementation and effective development standards.

• Guiding, supporting, and cooperating with developers across your game team.

• Partnering with producers to plan, schedule, and prioritize the project backlog.

• Sharing knowledge, communicating openly, and connecting with other teams across Rovio.

• Refining existing processes, tools, and workflows to help the team thrive.

Experience and skills we are looking for:

• 8+ years of game development experience with a proven track record of shipping titles.

• Deep programming expertise, particularly with C# and the Unity engine.

• Strong background in building solid game architecture using SOLID design principles.

• Great focus on debugging, profiling, and performance optimization for target platforms.

• Clear, thoughtful communication skills to help motivate and organize the team.

• Familiarity with agile development practices and a proactive approach to solving problems.
