Full description
The QA Technician Level 1 position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day quality activities associated with the production, sampling, inspection, testing, and release of materials and finished products. This position works closely with the Quality Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform in-coming inspection of materials and finished product.
- Assist Production with in-process testing, as needed.
- Assist in Final Lot testing.
- Perform Sterile Finished Goods Inspection
- Placement and incubation of biological indicators associated with sterilization
- Completion and maintenance of various Quality records.
- Update Quality procedures associated with the activities listed above, as needed
- Change the status of items within the company computer system
- Perform other duties within the Quality department (NCR, Validation, CAPA, Internal Audits, etc.), as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Requirements
- High School graduate.
- One (1) year experience within a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, food, etc.
- Good computer skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to stand for long periods (seven (7) hours or more)
- Must be able to work in both climate and non-climate controlled work areas
