CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an MES Angular Developer to join an established software engineering team focused on supporting modern manufacturing technology solutions. This role will focus on developing and enhancing user-friendly applications that support critical manufacturing operations in a global environment.

Type: Contract Job Title: MES Angular Developer Location: Remote, on Eastern or Central time zone. May be expected to report onsite within first two weeks of start for training meetings. Pay Rate: $67.00 - $69.00/hour Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Develop and enhance modern Angular user interfaces for manufacturing applications.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document software components for projects and programs.
  • Develop and maintain applications using Angular, TypeScript, C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
  • Design and integrate RESTful APIs to support web-based applications.
  • Create and execute unit tests to ensure high-quality, reliable software.
  • Collaborate with business leaders, end users, software engineers, and IT resources to define and implement manufacturing solutions.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into effective application designs.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and provide ongoing development and production support.
  • Quickly learn new technologies, applications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Work effectively within cross-functional and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Follow established software development, testing, source control, and documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience developing Angular user interface solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Professional experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET.
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with responsive web design and Bootstrap.
  • Understanding of UX concepts and modern UI development practices.
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Analysis.
  • Experience writing and executing unit tests.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technologies and business processes.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with Telerik Kendo UI for Angular.
  • Experience developing or supporting Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or other manufacturing applications.
  • Experience with RxJS.
  • Experience with .NET Core.
  • Experience using source code management tools such as Git or TFS.
  • Understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, or similar relational database platforms.
  • Experience developing enterprise applications in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
