Job DetailsJob Location: Tampa, FL 33603Salary Range: $63,000.00 - $73,000.00 SalaryEssential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Complete bio-psychosocial assessments with assigned patients
  • Critically assess assigned patients to provide the best continuum of care
  • Facilitate therapeutic services including process, psychoeducation and experiential group therapy
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions
  • Effectively communicate with family members regarding updates and family concerns
  • Effectively communicate with discharge to team to facilitate accurate and clinically appropriate discharge planning
  • Skilled at understanding the disease of addiction as well as recognizable client cognitions and behavior.
  • Timely and accurate completion of documentation utilizing EMR.
  • Communicate patient progress with appropriate referral sources and monitoring agencies.
  • Attend weekly treatment team meetings, weekly clinical supervision, and patient behavioral staffings
  • Utilize empirically supported theoretical orientations and behavioral interventions for creation of individualized treatment plans
  • Effectively communicate any concerns and utilize multidisciplinary team to develop strategies to modify behaviors
  • Effective use of multi-culturally competent strategies and approaches to patients in substance use population
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Master’s degree in Behavioral Health or related degree
  • Licensed or Registered LMHC/LCSW/LMFT in the State of Florida preferred
  • Clinical experience in crisis, behavioral, and therapeutic interventions
  • One (1) year or more working as a clinician in the addiction and recovery field
  • One (1) year or more working with adults with addictive disorders and dual diagnoses
  • One (1) year or more experience facilitating therapeutic groups
  • Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
