Job Summary

This position contributes to developing core competencies in the areas of Financial Management, Planning & Analysis, Decision Support, and Strategy Execution. The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of our team by supporting financial processes and providing visibility to results, trends, & KPI’s in addition to owning and helping to shape strategic decisions.

This position requires proactivity and a strategic approach to ensure the ability to multitask with a high degree of analytical proficiency and integrity. This position requires good foundational knowledge and experience in business and a firm understanding of both financial and service concepts, with the ability to work with a wide range of business partners as their finance partner and resource.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets, cash flows and valuation projections for the corporate business plan.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly business reviews, evaluating performance against financial budgets and business plans.
  • Assist with weekly bank reporting requirements.
  • Partner across business functions to identify risks, efficiencies, cost savings, and improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions to support budget performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and compliance, and present recommendations to executives.
  • Leverage systems to create/update in-depth corporate reporting on key components of the Company’s financial statements, including metrics that drive the business forward.
  • Work closely with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracy.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business operations processes to support strategy execution.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field or equivalent work experience

  • EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2-4 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and business performance analysis required.

COMPUTER SKILLS: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of computers, including Internet, e-mail, word processing, spreadsheet and presentation (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint) abilities.
