Location: Work from home role that requries team member to reside within a 2-3 hour commute radius of Greater Cincinnati.

Job Overview:
The Associate Data Engineer will participate in building data pipelines and/or datasets over their life cycles by working closely with a multidisciplinary agile team. As an Associate Data Engineer, you will assemble basic datasets that meet functional/non-functional business requirements for key stakeholders to ensure the enterprise has seamless access to actionable, meaningful, and well-governed data across all domains: 1. Create data pipelines and/or datasets architecture with a current understanding of technologies aligned to business needs. 2. Perform problem solving, formulation, testing, analysis on data. Design queries using structure query language. 3. Adhere to standard operating procedures & coding standards set by the analytics department. 4. Participate and implement components of data analytics deliverables.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare Information Management, Engineering or related field (Preferred) Up to 1 year Technical Information Systems (Required) Up to 1 year Clinical experience in Healthcare (Preferred) Exposure to Relational Databases like SQL Server & Non-Relational Databases Other Epic Clarity Data Model Certification within 1 Year Required Other Python Certification Preferred Other Oracle Fusion Certification Preferred
Job Responsibilities:
Designs, builds & tests basic queries and/or data pipelines and/or datasets for data and analytics consumers - aligned to business needs using current understanding of technologies. Measured by the number of certified data sets delivered on time meeting data quality and orchestration SLA's. Measurements will be reviewed on a regular basis by the manager supplemented by input from the associate data engineer, and feedback from the analytics team, and customers. Adheres to standard operating procedures & coding standards set by the department including code check-in, documentation/extended properties. Measured by dataset compliance to SOP (Standard Operating Procedures), design, development, testing, deployment standards. Obtains & maintains training & certifications listed in the job description and/or set by the Analytics Center of Excellence for an Associate Data Engineer. Measured by certifications, contribution to the Analytics Center of Excellence, and completed bright idea submissions. Actively contributes and participates in discussions during team meetings, design & planning sessions, huddles, and roundings. Communications with customers, team members are required to be professional, timely, inclusive, considerate, and respectful. Measured by participation rate, customer service surveys.
