Requirements

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in supply chain management and a strong understanding of warehouse and transport operations. Proficiency in English and German (B2 level) is required, along with advanced analytical skills and experience with MS Office and SAP.

Overview

A key role in servicing key customers, whose activities contribute to achieving the highest possible level of service in line with assumptions and priorities – proper management of product availability may have a direct impact on the results of the TAG survey, minimization of logistic penalties, and cost optimization.

Supports the implementation of PepsiCo business/sales plans by:

- Implementation of sales plans for individual customers/channels, ensuring appropriate service level and timely deliveries.

- Managing product availability for all sales channels in accordance with established priorities, minimizing logistic penalties level

- Coordination of assortment changes for key customers (listing, delisting of codes), Supervision of updating static product data process in customers’ and PepsiCo systems, ensuring appropriate communication with customer logistics functions for product changes.

- Regular analysis and identification of potential threats (collecting data on stocks, forecast, line capacity , promotions, etc.) and limitations in product availability for both categories (Snacks , Beve ) for all sales channels in the long and short term and ensuring regular communication about threats to all PepsiCo functions

- Regular analysis of key KPIs (SL, OTIF), the main causes of losses identification and recovery plans development to eliminate the causes of lower results.

- Managing proper orders prioritization.

- Optimization of of key customers’ sourcing (cyclical analyzes and recommendations for sourcing optimization).

Responsibilities

  • He/she contributes to the achievement of the sales service planned level by monitoring the availability of products for customers served both centrally from snack and beverage factories, external warehouses and locally from RDC warehouses and minimizing potential supply shortages.
  • Daily product availability monitoring for key customers - snacks, beverages for key customers in all sales channels (OT, AFH, Wholesale, C&C, TT):

- Potential shortages identification.

- Goods availability for scheduled shipments analysis and, if necessary, proposal and agreement on necessary production plan adjustments, substitutes use, product relocation).

- Coordination of agreed actions to minimize supply shortages.

- Coordination of order prioritization and sourcing.

  • Processing of central customers beverage orders in SAP (beverages):
  • Planning product deliveries directly from the factory to customer orders using the SAP system,
  • Verification of compliance with logistic conditions for centrally shipped deliveries
  • Product availability management for centrally placed orders (Analysis of current stock levels and production plans)
  • Optimal supply sourcing management
  • Establishing notifications of loading in plants and unloading in customer warehouses, confirming them and making any changes
  • Analysis of the forecast and current sales of key centrally supplied customers
  • Analysis of current inventory levels and production plans:

- Identification of priority codes for individual channels, regular review and update of priorities.

- Monitoring of priority products availability and preparing and maintaining ongoing communication to individual sales channels about the availability status.

- Cooperation with other Supply Chain departments (Production Planning, DRP, Transport) to minimize product shortages.

- Identification and coordination of introducing new In & Out and NPD products for sale in the Customer Service area.

- Identification of wrong orders and coordination of communication to KAM/CSS/client.

- Participation in NPD's, freshness and S&OP meetings - communication to the team and coordination of Customer Service activities agreed on at the meetings.

- Explaining the causes of service losses for key clients.

- Coordinating product lists for individual OT clients and their changes with KAM/CSS.

  • Contributes to the Company's P&L by planning shipments in a manner that will ensure:

- Optimal use of transport loading space.

- Minimization of inventory levels in the central warehouse.

- Even distribution of work in MWG.

- Sourcing optimization .

  • He/she enables proper planning processes throughout the entire supply chain by:

- collecting, verifying, secure archiving and sharing data from the area of responcibility for the purposes of planning processes.

- reliable and timely reporting of performance measures (KPI) in the area of responcibility.

- participating in team working meetings, reporting the status of orders, actively sharing information with other planners and Leaders.

  • He/she contributes to the supply chain efficiency continuous improvement by:

- Close cooperation with other team members and with other PepsiCo teams.

- Implementation of assigned projects or participation in project groups.

Qualifications

Skills/experience required for this position:

- Qualifications: higher education or during studies

- Fluent English and German (B2 at least)

- Minimum 2 years of experience within SC (Supply Planning experience is preferrable).

- Very good understanding of the interdependencies between individual links in the supply chain.

- Very good understanding of warehouse and transport operations specifics.

- Very good understanding of marketing and commercial campaigns mechanisms in individual sales channels.

- Highly developed analytical skills.

- Ability to analyze data from various sources.

- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.

- Patience, scrupulousness/meticulousness, resistance to routine.

- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel).
