What you'll do...

Role summary: As a Principal Product Manager at Walmart, you will lead product strategy across a broad portfolio, driving organization-wide decisions through deep expertise and data-driven insights. This role requires shaping complex product visions, managing multi-product roadmaps, and influencing senior stakeholders with compelling narratives. You will guide cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions, optimize product lifecycle outcomes, and establish best practices within the discipline. Leveraging advanced analytics and emerging technologies, you will ensure alignment with business priorities while mentoring peers and fostering continuous improvement across the product management function. About the team: The Data Ventures Product team at Walmart develops and scales data-driven products that transform unique data assets into impactful solutions enhancing customer value and generating new revenue. Operating within the Global Data & Ads Product group, the team integrates data, technology, and commercialization, leveraging platforms like Scintilla to deliver insights and recommendations for suppliers and internal partners. Collaborating closely with Engineering, Design, Business Development, Legal, and Research, the team drives product innovation through strategic roadmaps, stakeholder management, and data-driven decision making in a dynamic environment focused on growth and impact. What you'll do:

  • Shape and drive product strategy across multiple related products, leveraging deep domain expertise and data-driven insights.
  • Define and manage comprehensive product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business priorities and technical feasibility.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration to address complex customer problems and deliver scalable product solutions.
  • Establish and promote best practices in product management, elevating standards across teams.
  • Guide data-informed decision-making through advanced analytics, experimentation, and customer feedback mechanisms.
  • Influence enterprise-level prioritization and strategic direction by communicating compelling narratives grounded in market and user insights.
  • Mentor product managers and contribute to organizational capability building through coaching and development.

What you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in product strategy development and management across multiple related products or large product areas.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders through data-driven insights and compelling narratives.
  • Expertise in defining and evolving product roadmaps, prioritizing resources, and managing complex product lifecycles.
  • Strong skills in customer and problem understanding using design thinking, journey mapping, and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in applying advanced analytics, experimentation, and AI opportunities to optimize product decisions.
  • Demonstrated capability to mentor and develop product management talent while promoting best practices.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to drive organizational alignment and execution.
  • Experience in Advertising/ Targeting / Segmentation and Measurement

The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00 - $286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
