We now have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Project Delivery team in Brisbane, QLD, on a 10-month maximum-term secondment.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Project Delivery QLD, you will play a key role in providing senior-level technical support and supervision across all phases of project delivery, ensuring designs meet operational requirements and comply with APA’s engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and support across all phases of project delivery, helping teams achieve safe and effective project outcomes.
• Support the development and review of project designs to ensure they meet operational requirements and APA’s engineering standards.
• Work collaboratively with project teams, providing guidance and support to help deliver against project plans, quality expectations and engineering standards.
• Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs, share technical expertise and work through project challenges.
• Monitor project progress, proactively identify opportunities or issues, and keep key stakeholders informed of project status and developments.

Your background

• Sound understanding of engineering principles and project delivery, with experience applying your technical knowledge in a practical environment.
• Experience supporting engineering projects through various stages of delivery, with the confidence to provide technical guidance when required.
• Collaborative approach to problem-solving, with the ability to consider different perspectives and work towards practical solutions.
• Effective communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders.
• A commitment to creating a safe and supportive working environment while delivering quality outcomes on time and within budget.
