CUHK Business School Part-time Project Co-ordinator II (carrying the job title of ‘Assistant Administrative Manager’), Office of Taught Postgraduate Programmes

The CUHK Business School is a leading business school and a pioneer in business education in Hong Kong. The Office of Taught Postgraduate Programmes oversees and co-ordinates admissions exercise, student recruitment, student matters, and exchange opportunities of taught postgraduate programmes in collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders.

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our admissions team on a part-time basis, with a focus on secretarial and travel support. Reporting to the Senior Manager and/or her delegate(s), the appointee will be responsible for (a) providing comprehensive secretarial support, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and document preparation; (b) arranging travel itineraries, including flights, trains, accommodation for admission-related trips and visits; (c) preparing and processing travel expense claims and reimbursement; (d) supporting the planning and execution of admission events, including logistics co-ordination, and on-site support for local events; (e) liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth event delivery; and (f) assisting in other ad hoc duties as assigned. He/She is expected to work 2 to 4 days per week.

Applicants should have (i) a good Bachelor’s degree; (ii) at least 2 years of relevant post-qualification work experience, preferably in secretarial support, travel arrangement, event co-ordination, or a related field; (iii) high attention to detail and strong organisational skills; and (iv) a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua). Shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews and / or written test(s), as appropriate.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for 6 months to 1 year commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
