Roles/Responsibilities:
This position provides high-level technical support for Flexcel NX products to our customers remotely or on-site – according to the Miraclon Handbook. The employee provides day-to-day troubleshooting, Diagnosis & repair, and Proactive services. The individual should be very proficient in the hardware used by Packaging customers and, over time, very proficient in the corresponding process and Application. In this role, you are reporting to the Regional Technical Support Manager.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development of technical strategies and practices focused on maintaining and growing plate volume in designated accounts.
- Customer pre-sales support, working with the sales team in providing technical consultation related to the Miraclon value proposition and specific customer strategy development.
- Support sales by conducting product demonstrations and technical presentations, as required.
- Coordinate initial and ongoing print trials and provide analysis of results and compilation of detailed internal and external reports.
- Coordinate and conduct pre-installation surveys and site audits at prospective accounts to ensure that equipment and space are suitable to support system requirements.
- Installation, startup, and training of the flexo plate-making solution for the customer.
- Support for flexo and packaging solution issues and “Best Practice” implementation, including imaging, plate making, and printing.
- Coordinate and conduct regularly scheduled Plate Room Audits at customer sites.
- Initiate and follow up on PIR (Product Investigation Report) related to product issues in the field.
- Supporting Alpha and Beta programs for upcoming products with selected customers.
- Performs remote support via dedicated tools (as part of the escalation process).
- Deliver Proactive services (Preventive Maintenance and Plateroom Audit) at customer sites.

- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills in the printing prepress industry
- Good writing skills to summarize technical situations and path forward

- Customer focus and must-have Service Excellence of attitude to address problem resolution in order to meet customer satisfaction
- Proficiency in working with internal service systems like SalesForce/M3 (can be from previous industry experience)
Required Experience:
- In-depth technical knowledge of Flexographic equipment – Imagers and process equipment. Ideally, Kodak equipment and Laminators, but knowing the competitor’s system and relationship with the flexography OEM is an advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in flexographic printing service, or general printing service
- Track record of high-quality performance and results.
- Experience working in a “hands-on” and “field” position with relatively little supervision.
- PC skills including basic Excel and PowerPoint for analysis and communication
Position will be home office, reporting directly to Regional Service Manager - LAR
Flexible schedule between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
