The incumbent's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
[What you will be working on]
1. Investigate abnormalities in customers' water consumption patterns and follow up until resolution. This includes analysing usage data, identifying potential issues, and conducting site visits when necessary. 2. Prepare and process adjustment/concession requests due to faulty meters and water leakages for approval. This involves verifying claims, calculating appropriate adjustments, and submitting recommendations to the supervisor. 3. Liaise with internal departments, external customers, and contractors regarding metering operations, feedback, and provision of contractual services. This includes addressing inquiries, coordinating meter installations or replacements, and ensuring service quality standards are met. 4. Improve work processes through project participation. This may include contributing to the development of systems, streamlining existing procedures, etc. 5. Attend to other ad-hoc duties, including standby duties for the Operations Centre. This involves being on call to respond to emergencies, assisting with urgent customer issues, and supporting the overall operations of the water supply network as needed. 6. To call tender for provision of services for metering operations including preparation of budget, operational requirements, tender specification, schedule of rates, etc. 7. Ensure the proper administration of contract including monitoring of budget, compliance with established SOP/work processes, accounting of works carried out, payments, etc.
