Eligibility Criteria

  • Years of Experience: 8 to 12 years
  • Job Experience: Should have worked as a Business Analyst for Data Science enterprise-wide sustainable solutions, BI Applications, and Analytics. Preferrable if worked in Multinational Hi-Tech or Manufacturing industry, service, operations or manufacturing functions as business analyst. Should have worked with teams across the globe.
  • Educational: Master's. in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

The impact you’ll make

Join Lam as an Operations Business Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your data expertise, you collect and analyze data through a range of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and apps, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.

What you’ll do

Partner with stakeholders across manufacturing, quality, order management, inventory, logistics and supply chain to understand business priorities and define clear analytics requirements.Facilitate discovery workshops, document business processes, define epics and user stories, and maintain a prioritized backlog aligned to business outcomes.

Bridge business teams and development teams by clarifying requirements, resolving impediments and supporting sprint planning, reviews and delivery tracking.

Conduct ad hoc analysis using SQL, Excel and relevant data sources to validate opportunities, support proof of concepts and bring actionable insights to the business.

Work with technical teams to shape solution proposals that follow enterprise architecture, information security and single-source-of-truth data standards.

Define estimated benefits, track realized value and communicate delivery performance, findings and recommendations to business councils and leadership forums.

Support user acceptance testing, training and adoption for analytics and automation solutions delivered by the development team. Research emerging analytics, AI/ML and automation practices to identify practical opportunities for process optimization and innovation.

Who we’re looking for

  • 8-12 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting enterprise analytics, BI, automation or data science solutions.

Deep functional experience in at least two areas: manufacturing, quality, order management, inventory, logistics or supply chain.

Hands-on ability to perform ad hoc analysis using SQL, business data sources, Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience delivering descriptive and advanced analytics solutions in cloud environments, preferably Azure.

Strong experience with agile ways of working, stakeholder management and translating business needs into epics, user stories and measurable outcomes.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in multinational hi-tech, manufacturing, service or operations environments with globally distributed teams.
  • Exposure to AI/ML, big data technologies such as Spark or Hadoop, and data science tool/platform evaluation.
  • Working knowledge of prompt engineering and current trends in advanced analytics and automation.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
